Just confirming this is a tetramorium queen as this is my first wingless queen ever spotted and captured just want to make sure.

Have her in this setup as I'm still waiting on my AntsCanada order to be processed... which seems to take a bit of time... wish i knew.

Anyways here are the photos.

Yup! Tetramorium immigrans. This setup looks pretty ideal for the time being.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

I put a heating cable near by her because where I have her is just outside my air conditioned room. I haven't fully inspected her to see if she's laid any eggs but I did check briefly the past 2 days to make sure her water storage hasn't flooded. She's completely in darkness and is around 70 degrees F for a low, and 78 degrees for a high. I plan on leaving her be completely of any light or test tube moving for at least 5 days and then inspecting to see if she's laid and check her health.

If there's any other recommendations please feel free to let me know.

I've also been out looking for more. I've seen dead males but no queens. And I typically only look between 5am and 8am
