We could use some more pictures, from different angles (the second image is focused on the background instead of the ant). I'm guessing the second queen is semi-claustral.

Looks to me like Liometopum sp. and Solenopsis sp.

:?: :?: :?: batspiderfish, Where did you get your knowledge for ants? Did you study entomology or myrmecology in college? Or possibly work as a entomologist/myrmecology/biologist? Or are you just self taught? :?: :?: :?:

I'm just curious because you're extremely knowledgeable, and always very informative; to include, very active on the forums which great for the community and I'm sure helps you learn new things as well.

As I always say when you drop some lines of information, Thanks again for the help! :D :D :D

Hello! I have done some college for biology/biotechnology, but proficiency with ant taxonomy only came from years of practice. I like this forum because the community is respectful and because they find plenty of ants to ID. It's also a great way to teach youngsters and new hobbyists how diverse their surroundings actually are! The world will soon be in desperate need of ecologists and environmental scientists.
