Caught this around 1:30pm today. It was walking around on my driveway exploring cracks. It is about 10mm long and is orange/red. in the light. Im new to this so any help with identification would be much appreciated. I was thinking some kind of lasius or prenolepis. It seems rather late in the year for prenolepis, very hot lately too.

Formica sp. from the pallidefulva group. Easier to identify with workers.
