Alright so I’ve found dozens of these in my area and have three in test tubes currently all doing well with numerous eggs. However I have no idea what they are! They’re all range from 6-7.5mm the one pictured is about 6.5mm. And I’ve caught them all at the beginning of June. Image

I don't know what your other ants are, but this is a male.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
