I'm pretty sure she's a Camponotus, but sp?

Caught her in Vancouver, BC on May 16th, 2018.

She's about 40mm long

Thanks!

Camponotus modoc or Camponotus herculeanus, probably the former. The two cannot easily be distinguished without lots of magnification (especially as queens, although the workers may be easier.) Visible details like hair coverage and body texture are important.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

There are hairs on her chin if that helps. I just took a magnifier to her.
