My first queen?

Hello!

I may or may have not found my first queen!
It seems to be a camponotus novaeboracensis, or at least a camponotus, also I found the ant in a park on a place called “Tejeda”, Correguidora, Querétaro

I think I found the nest roughly 4.5 school buses away (yes, those yellow ones)
(Also I say think because the were many trails, there was no clear entrance)

Also 1-2 days ago it rained while it was dark

The ant is rather roughly 1 cm in length, with the gaster being roughly 4mm in length

I found the ant on April 25, 2018
(If you want more details, aproximately at 8:20 morning)

I’ll try to post the images later
Also sorry for the quality, I don’t have anything better than my iPad
