It is is the genus Iridomyrmex. I am thinking that the species is Bicknelli, but I am not sure, as 17 mm is rather large for Iridomyrmex Bicknelli. Can you take a photo with a ruler beside?

1 - Rainbow Ant (When in sun light they glow a purply green.)

2 - Just a regular sized test tube is fine, not to gigantic, not to small. (16 mm and above is fine)

3 - Theses ant have 2 - 3 nuptial flights a year. 1 in the beginning of spring, 1 in mid December, and 1 early March.
