Camponotus pennsylvanicus is only found east of the Rocky Mountains. The specimens west of there are likely misidentified Camponotus modoc.TheRealAntMan wrote: ↑Sun May 27, 2018 10:56 amActually, C.Pennslvanicus can be found all over North America.Batspiderfish wrote: ↑Sat May 19, 2018 2:10 pmIt's Camponotus, but C. pennsylvanicus is only found in Eastern North America.

The only sources which indicate that C. pennsylvanicus is found elsewhere are dubious, isolated records on maps, but every written resource says they are replaced by C. modoc west of the Rockies.
