Found in Reno, NV. Just by the look of her gaster, I want to say she's crematogaster sp. But really I have no I dea.
I'll try to find my better camera, but she's pitch black and about 7-8 mm. Strangely I found her under a rock. If I'm forgetting something important just ask me for the information.

The genus looks to be Pheidole, but I can not say what species.
Good luck with the queen!

Re: ID this Queen?
If you zoom in on the second image, you can see she has a very pronounced petiole node. It's like a spike coming out of her back.
Re: ID this Queen?
Well, I made a mistake here. What I thought was a spike was just her back leg perfectly positioned so it looked like a spike. My bad people.
But I still can't find a crematogaster species that looks like her.
