Queen and some workers need help with identification
I recently caught a queen that was about to be killed by liquid ant bait I scooped up a couple of workers as well and I'm trying to help them recolonize and also as my first colony of ants I'm really excited about this I have them in a test tube set-up with a small Nest I ordered on the way but I have no idea what type of ants I currently have and I really would like some help I've taken a couple of pictures but cannot upload here so feel free to email me and I can send you the pictures slim.holmes.mh@gmail.com

Watchu gotta do is sign up with Imgur.com. Then, you upload an image on the website. Then you copy the BBcode of that image and paste it in here. I think if you go to the FAQ section of the forum it explains how to do it.

Argentine ants are black/brown. That queen looks like it has some orange in it.Antmanmike wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 12:01 pmI do believe they are Argentine ants from the research that I've done Linepithema humile

Re: Queen and some workers need help with identification
You need better pictures for proper ID.
This is your queen:
She has that very light brown coloration on her thorax and a black gaster. Her head is also light brown.
This is an Argentine queen:
Argentine ant queens are pure brown and don’t have multiple colors.
