This ID request is a good bit late, admittedly, but I was out of town and had no access to the photos of the queen until I recently got back. Anyway! She was caught in mid-80 degree weather late afternoon in a small town area, and is about 9-10mm.

Apologies for the image quality. I really need to get a new camera =P

Lasius sp. Individual Lasius species can be hard to identify by the queens alone. You might have to wait until workers arrive for a more accurate I.D.
