I posted my queen a while back but now that I put her in a test tube setup , I decided to give her some honey and for perspection on her size I put her setup on a lined book. Here you can see her size between two lines. Please help me identify her species , this can realy help me determin how to take care of her. Here are the pictures :

On closer inspection with a magnifieing glass I can see two small spikes from her thorax , between her thorax and middle section.

at first glance i thought Tetramorium... but the abdomen is too small to me.

Most Tetramorium spp. actually have small gasters like that. I wouldn't be able to tell the species from these photos, however.

Only thing I realy want to know is if I need to keap on feeding her or is she capable of taking care of herself in the test tube time?
