First I would like to thank you in advance for your help. Second my camera (lens) is not the best for micro shots.
She was hanging out within my wife's car as I opened the passenger side door. Could someone help me identify her. I believe she is a Lasius but I know I could be very wrong.

I agree with Lasius, although we can't tell exactly what she is from the photos. Lasius neoniger is likely.
