New Queen ID SE BC
The queen is 11-12 mm. Found on the sidewalk in a local park.
Re: New Queen ID SE BC
Is she likely to be a parasitic queen? I have a fusca group colony with no queen. Any chance of her accepting them or them her?
Re: New Queen ID SE BC
I'm thinking no, but you might try giving her a pupa of theirs.

Fusca group -- not a social parasite.

They might, but I would recommend putting her in a refrigerator first. That distorts her pheromones.
