Hello! I caught this [http://imgur.com/a/wA9e5][http://imgur.com/a/RmWE6] queen ant at 8:00 at the beach in Va. I need help Identifying her and if I accidentally took her away from her colony. I found her right NEXT to a group of ants. It didn't seem like they were moving because i didn't see any brood. I picked her up and in a minute, she took off her wings!! I rushed to get her in a test tube setup and a think she immediately laid 2 eggs! the eggs are in the 2 pic near the upper part of the queens abdomen. It was also a REALLY humid day btw. Thanks so much :D !!!!!
