Please dont be Solenopsis invicta
I hope this is not solenopsis invicta. If it is how do you guys feel about me keeping it? I live in Chester County Pa and caught it in South East Pa. I don't think solenopsis invicta live anywhere near me so I bet she's not. At first I thought see was a pheidol but then I realized she was smaller and darker than my pheidol queens. She kind of looks like solenopsis invicta pics I saw online but not completely. I know its probably stupid to think its even possible but I hate invasive sp. and I just want to be sure

Pheidole hyatti? It honestly looks like a Solenopsis Invicta to me.
Re: Please dont be Solenopsis invicta
Are you 100% positive it is a pheidole?? I trust your answer more than anyone but I just want to be positive because I know how hard it is to keep invicta

I wouldn't be able to identify her further without examining her myself, but she is definitely Pheidole.
