Tapinoma sessile queen???

Imageshe's about 5 mm long maybe a little longer

Edit: I should probably include that I'm from the BC interior, Kamloops BC to be exact. Found her while weeding my wife's garden. We have camponotus modoc in our cedars, probably nesting in the yard ties so I almost missed her thinking she was a modoc worker but it became quickly obvious she was no modoc.

Formica sp.

Thank you, with further research she's clearly Formica podzolica

"with further research". Where exactly are you looking to ID your queen besides on here? I would really like to get better at it on my own
Colonies:
--Tetramorium Caespitum
--Camponotus pennsylvanicus
--Formica Sp.

Google search my friend, and a little background on each image I click on so I'm know I'm getting what I think I'm looking at, or at least can convince myself I am. In this instance, this photo here is basically exactly what I have stashed away in a drawer in the corner of my house in a test tube: Image and it's from a reputable source I feel like I can make the "truth worthy" judgment call on. :)

Also going off what I have seen GAN farmers selling within 200km on either side of my city in terms of Formica sp. steered me in the right direction as to what it might be.

I also have a handy list from a local university with a reputable biology program that includes all know/documented wild species in our province and I believe, though I dont personally have it, a regional list exists that I can access through local conversation.
