She landed on a friend while mating. I only have 1 test tube so I caught them and released the male later.
She is 7 mm and was caught in Luther, Oklahoma, on 7/23.
Also, can this species chew through rubber? The current test tube I have is cracked and I got some new ones at a local store, but it seems like they have a rubber stopper.

Oh, if it helps, she has 1 petiole separating her gaster and mesosoma.

If they can't chew through a simple piece of cotton, I assume they can't chew through rubber at this beginning stage...
