All queens where found in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

1 and 2= don't know
3 and 4= Tetramorium
5= Ethereal
6 and 7= Pogonomyrmex.

These are my amateur opinions, please wait for other ideas. Also, lengths would be tremendously helpful.

Sorry I missed your comment about lengths. They are in the post but kind of hidden. The are listed between the album link and date of capture. I don't seem able to edit the post anymore so I'll re-post them below.

Queen 1 is 11mm.
Queen 2 is 9-10mm
Queen 3-7 are 6-7mm.

Oh, sorry i missed that. Congrats on the great haul, though. The big ones are most likely Camponotos, possibly Formica, but I'm not too familiar with either. Also, keep in mind that some species of Pogonomyrmex require semi-claustral setups, and some don't. My best guess would be that both of yours are P. Occidentalis, which are, in fact, semi-claustral.

one and two could be some form of formica??? not sure far from specialist

Thanks for your help guys. I moved the Pogonomyrmex to small bins with seeds, sugar water, dab of honey and a grasshopper leg each.
