You sure? The gaster looks too pointy to me..
Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

I have a few other of what I think are crematogaster queens, and they're definitely larger; is it normal for there to be such a range in size of queens of that type?

Within a genus, there are usually species of various sizes.

Ok, the reason I asked is because it looks like I have about 6 crematogaster queens. I thought this one was signicantly smaller, but after just looking a minute ago, it looks like it's only about a mm smaller than the largest.
How can I speciate this?
