Finally caught a type of queen I was hoping for!! A trap-jaw queen! Just found her randomly on the 15th of July, at my work in Orlando FL.

Sorry the images are a little blurred, she would not stop moving around. I'm thinking she's Odontomachus brunneus but I wanna be sure. She's about 1cm long. Also, does anyone know if she's fully claustral or semi-claustral?

I also caught this one the day prior.

She's far smaller and was harder to get a good pic of. Just took the last picture today, she's got eggs already it seems! about 5mm long, and a dark orange-ish brown color. I'm impressed by her huge gaster in comparison to the rest of her.

Odontomachus Are Generally A Semi-Claustral Species.
For The Second Queen, Probably Brachymyrmex Sp.
