Can someone identify this little lady for me?

Help with identifying the species your ants

So they did not touch the mealworms but shortly after cleaning those out I replaced them with cricket leg pieces and two of the workers where out there eating/gathering them up. I saw one of them come back to the queen and feed her.
It looks like I will have a couple more workers next week.

So Bat, on one of your replies you said we would need to see the workers to be able to identify. What should I focus on for the new pics? Certain angles?

You'll want to see the hair coverage on the mesosoma (the thorax).

I'm leaning towards Camponotus novaeboracensis for the coloration and shininess.

I don't know their coloration is a bit black for it to be camponotus novaboricensis :|
Let us remember that even though ants are wonderful creatures, even more magnificent is their creator 😌

I think the pictures are just dark.
