ImageSo my mom found me a potential queen ant when at work and she has it for me. It was found at 6pm on June 17th 2017. It was located in a small town about 70 min east of Toronto. I only have the one photo as that's all she sent me. and I have not see it in person so don't have measurements.

Looks like a Camponotus to me, but I'm color blind, so not sure about the species.

Pogonomyrmex Occidentalis
Solenopsis Molesta
Formica Argentea

Fully-Claustral; But It's An Undershot, Unable To Assume Which Species She Is.
An Above Shot, Or A Side-Shot Would Be Preferable.

Thanks for confirming that for me. Once I get her I'll take more photos. I'll have to drive to get her as I live a distance from my mom. She knows about my love of ants and even asked questions about them then last night she finds her on the screen door into her work.
