Hello all, new to the forum. I have been on the hunt for about 2 years now for a queen and and have very little luck. The other day while cutting the grass i stumbled upon this winged ant, I am unsure if its a queen or not but was hoping you folks could help! I found this queen in Eastern Rhode Island near the Mass boarder. Hope the picture will do.

Just a reminder- measurements with every request.

Is there any value in hanging on to this guy or should i just let him go?
Thank you,
Nick

He will die in the next day or two. You can let him go.
Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
