Small queen caught in Texas

Caught this small one just a few days ago (approx May 21st), around Austin, TX, approx 6 mm
Hard to tell from the photos, but there are very thin, light lines along her gaster.

Sorry for how far away the photos are, but my cruddy cell-phone camera won't focus on anything closer (even on manual focus)

In any case, this is a nice break from the hoards of Solenopsis queens we have around here. ;)

Can you check the measurements? 6mm isn't that small. Looks like Brachymyrmex sp.

I can vouch for that ID bat.
Looks a heck of alot like the brachymyrmex sp. That I caught about 6 months ago.

6 mm is small by Texas standards. ;)

Thanks guys. From my brief searching, brachymyrmex is a fully claustral genus, right?

I am 95% certain it is a Brachymyrmex Sp. i have one that looks like that. And yes she is a fully claustral queen.
