Hello,
I captured a queen today, 05/21/2017 after a heavy rain last night.
She is 9mm long and all black except for a few lighter stripes at the end of her gaster.
Sorry I couldn't get better pictures. She would not pose nicely!

That's a drone...a male my friend. You can tell by the small head and pointy gaster. You can see the claspers he has at the top of his gaster as well. Definately a male
