Looks like Carebara sp. I assume she is pretty big?

It's around 25mm long. It has been constantly trying to climb the walls of the container and falling for 5 hours straight :|

Is there an alternative for the test tube setup with household items? Can i out some soil in? If not I should let it go soon..

You could start her off in a jar full of dirt. You might need to mist the soil if it gets dry, although I have no specific knowledge for the care of this species.
