Hey everyone! My first post in the forums!! Thanks for having me. I think i have a queen here, can anyone confirm? If so what species do you all think? I live in southeast Texas. Thanks in advance!!

I have not taken any measurements but i will do that now. I have added two more pictures. I added one before as an attachment and now added two as attachments. Im not sure how to add pictures any other way. Thanks!!

Upload your pictures onto photobucket/imgur/etc and use the image button in the toolbar when making your post. Put the link to the .jpg file in between the IMG tags

Looks like a semi-claustral ponerine ant of some sort. Measurements?? I can't tell if she is a queen or not, but better lighting would probably help.
