:D Hi guys caught this ant about half an hour ago on the beach.
I caught it South of Sydney in NSW, Australia.
Caught on the 22nd of April.

Is around 7-9mm long. And I think it is a pheidole.

Clearer pictures are definitely necessary, but I believe this may (unlikely) be Solenopsis invicta.

I really don't have anything that could take better pictures, do. you have any techniques that could improve photo clarity?

yes, take a pic thru a magnifying glass, and try to not zoom as much on your camera.

If possible put the queen on a sheet of printer paper (not lined) to get better focus/contrast. I dont think solenopsis invicta, due to you being in AUS

This is Pheidole sp.
