You need to use a species key.

These look very similiar to my queen, and seem to live in the same areas where i caught my queen.

A species key (a.k.a. dichotomous key) is how you identify ants the right way.

Pheidole are so subtle in their differences that the untrained eye will inevitably identify incorrectly.

Pheidole are NOT easy to ID.
