You are the one I was waiting to comment on this . That's exactly what I was thinking she was. At the same time I was kind of hoping I was wrong. I'm sure if i took the time to locate a lasius species I could probably found a colony but being as I am still rather new to this I think I will let them both go. I would rather them live than me try to found a colony and them die at this early of a stage in my experience with ant keeping. I am getting rather decent with identifying them I think . As long as you pay attention to all the minor details it's not really that hard but it's the minor details that make all the difference.
