Niagara Falls, Ontario Queen Ant
Hello, today I was out on the porch with my cats when she attacked something, I pull her away and see it's an ant! Unfortunately, my mother washed it away before I could properly capture it... She sat at around a centimeter long, and I'd like to know your guys opinion on what it was. Thanks lads! and rest in peace mysterious ant, I wish I could have captured you...

I caught one of those earlier today about an hour away from there.
Probably prenolepis imparis.
