Looking for lasius ants with eggs, i lifed up a garden stone brick and a bunch of bright tiny orange ants with brood were at the surface on lets say...to the left.
On the far right side 18 inches away was a single queen, worker and major ant.
Now i dont know of any lasius ants that have majors, but i still want to know what ant species these are. I have already put the queen back where i found her.
The queen is 5mm long, major 3, normal worker 2mm. They are orange and the workers mandibles expand outward pretty far. (Cool)

Now, hoping this is lasius, i have about 12 workers and like 3 to 6 eggs, pupae i believe. And a lasius umbratus queen from before winter waiting on a family also a lasius claviger.
