Could someone help me identify these queens? I caught about 12 of them.
Size: about 9-10 mm
When: early evening 6/27/23
Where: my swimming pool (which was empty and just painted), Las Vegas/town in my backyard (pavement, stone, desert landscaping)
Appearance: reddish brown with banding on gaster
Behaviour: they congregated on the wet cotton balls or hid in tissue
Picture(s): https://imgur.com/gallery/YYNz9Z7
Additionally: None had wings when I found them
Thanks!

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Thank you! That helps a lot and I think you are probably right on the id. I'll do some more research to see what I've gotten myself into, but the queens sure are pretty.
