Need Help ID

Size: 8-9mm
When: 28/06/2023 4PM
Where: Mount Vernon New York
Appearance: Her gaster is a brown/black? grid pattern. The legs and antennae are a similar/the same bright brown/black color as the pattern. I can’t tell. Sometimes she looks red. its not letting me add pics

You'll have to use Google Photos.
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
