Ant identification (USA VA)
Size: roughly 15 mm
When: about 3 o’clock in the afternoon about 2 weeks ago.
Where: in my driveway I live in Virginia
Appearance: Black and fairly large for ants in my area.
Behavior: she was fairly calm when I put her in the test tube and has been since.
Picture(s): I can’t figure out how to upload a pic the video restricted says when I click the link.

There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
