Hi anyone,
Just wondering if someone knows what this one is. I'll just list some points. Let me know if anything else could come in handy.

- Caught just on dark in some grass, attempted to hide in said grass, into the second month of spring atm.
- Caught a week and a bit ago, so around the 26th to 28th of August.
- She is very calm and is easy to contain as she doesn't try to escape. Likes to be hidden away and under things.
- Has marks that may be wing scars on the thorax but cant be too sure.
- I think she may be a worker but she is odd in that I haven't seen any ants like her in my area as of yet.
- Currently in a test tube setup, I have been feeding her but I've only ever seen her drink some honey.
- About 7-8mm long.

Thanks in advance for any help! ;)

Polyrhachis sp. queen. :)

She is semi-claustral, from what I hear.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
