Is this a queen ant?

Hello ant canada,today i was taking a bath and i saw this ant failing from the ceiling and it almost drowned,good thing i was quick to save her,she looks like a queen to me,does anyone knows if it is really a queen?

Nice job. It is a queen, but you will have to wait for Batspiderfish and others to identify what species it is.

and another question i have is she fully claustral or semy claustral? i plan to raise my first colony with her :D

It is a tropical Camponotus species (which frankly, might not even have received a name yet by its discoverer). She is fully-claustral and will probably grow relatively quickly, without hibernation.

I noticed she is biting the cotton on the test tube setup(the side to the outside) should i worry about that?

It's quite natural for them to do it. Try giving her a small bit of honey, that might satisfy her.

I got worried so i switched the side of the cotton and now she is just chillin,she was bitting really hard,almost filled her little room with cotton

Wow thanks for the tip,i gave her a bit of honey and she drank it all,now her gaster if quite full.
