Hey guys, on my way out the door to go to work I found 5 of these guys stuck to the hood and roof of my car. They were on their backs stuck by their wings because of the water since it had rained during the night. It made me 20min late for work, but I grabbed all 5.

Anyway I'm wondering what species they are and do you think they were able to mate? Or is it probable that they flew from a nest in my yard and got stuck on my car before they could mate?

Tetramorium species E. (tetramorium caespitum) congrats! as to fertilization, you never can tell until your eggs turn into larva.
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Tetramorium caespitum is a completely different species. They are very similar but I just wanted to make sure you both knew.
