With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?

Keeper of:
Camponotus Pennsylvanicus
Pheidole sp.

This is a parasitic Lasius of some sort. Most likely Lasius interjectus.

Umm so will she start her own colony?

No, she needs Lasius pupae from another colony before she will even lay eggs.

My friend actually got it for me so I didn't (until today!)
I think I have to let her go do her thing with another colony.
But today I caught my first queen in almost a month! I made a thread about it good day for hunting after the rain yesterday and not so windy today. Good luck PA! (and all other ant loving places : )
