They are 10-14 mm, black and red, caught 5/21/16 around 10 pm heading towards a lantern. Caught in Chester County PA. I caught 6. I was lucky to find this dead one the day after because I do not think I could have gotten a good pic of a live one. Thanks

It could also be Camponotus herculeanus, or Camponotus novaeboracensis there are so many wow!
