hi everyone! i just found a new campontotus queen! than i checked in a bit later and she died from stress. what to do? feed her to other wild ants, or bury her in a box to keep her protected?

I preserve my dead queens in alcohol, although not many people do this. I'm going to vote "feed".

I don't think you can be sure why she died. Camponotus sometimes become infested by parasitic flies, so you could hold onto her and see if anything comes out.
