Sad but maybe not a loss?

Let us know of your ant colonies or queens that have passed away. We will grieve together but will also learn why your ants may not have succeeded.

Sad but maybe not a loss?

Ok so when I found the nest over run with the ants I took it outside (Man there was a lot of ants covering the nest box) and yesterday and last night it rained. Well tjis morning I decided to clean the whole thing up and once I opened the nest I noticed there were some fire ants still moving! My mood perked up and I thought "What If?" so I started digging out the nesting area (it had turned into red mud from the rain) and I found others that had survived! I found ants, brood, AND I FOUND MY QUEEN!!!!!!! She was barely moving and as in the video you'll see below she was showing life.

So I'm hoping that they may survive Q the song that came to mind

The Video I shot a bit ago

Keep your fingers crossed for me and my family of Solenopsis!!!!!!!
