Do Ants Sleep? A far more common question then people would think! With ants seeming to be busy bodies 24/7, always seeming to be doing something it's a common question ranging from kids to scientists. There have been studies into the behavior of ants and the conclusions are all but firm in the resolution to the question "Do ants sleep?"

One of many articles I have found on the subject.

I think ants may take turns. Some sleep while others work. Then most or even all of them sleep through winter.

I believe ants sleep hundreds of times a day for only like a minute at a time
