C. pennsylvanicus food suggestions

Can anyone recommend any favorite foods for C. pennsylvanicus? I've been feeding mine crickets and mealworms since the colony started last year.

The don't seem to be excited about those food items anymore. I gave them some fresh killed superworms recently and they were super excited about it at first. Now they don't seem to be interested anymore....

I'v tried red grapes and apple, but they didn't touch them.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Best thing you can do is feed them a variety of stuff. Sometime I give mine cooked chicken organic cat food, minced meat. Be creative and careful.

I feed mine sugar water and fruits like oranges. As for meats, giving them spiders is like giving us nice, juicy steak! They just can't resist it! Just don't feed it to them much though. And boil the spiders that you catch and make sure they aren't too big.Fruit flies and cut up meal worms also work.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.
