Need Help With Feeding

So I have a camponotus pennsylvanicus queen with a good amount of brood and larvae in the cocoon stage.(No workers yet) I really need to know one thing: when should I introduce food to the colony. Also, when I do that, what food should it be, only sugars to start, or protein too? I need this fast because her first workers are coming soon. Thanks.

HI TomvANTol, I'll start by inviting you to the Camponotus Crew page(link in signature below) where you'll be able to get a lot more info. When you get maybe 2-3 workers you could give them a cricket leg or a small fly (dead obviously) and a very small drop of honey.
