Texas leaf cutter ants.diet

Ok. if I get a queen and start them up. what would I feed them. they only seem to cut leaves from plants and flowers, not grass.so what would work best. any ideas.

I am not 100% sure but I think leaf cutters eat the fungus they fertilize with the leaves. Don't take it from me though. Anybody else know for sure.

it depends on the species. some like roses, some like poop, and so on.
