MOLD!!!!!!
I have recently checked my lasius flavus colony that are in a lasius small hybrid nest and I noticed that one of the chambers is developing mould. please help soon

Do you have dirt or sand in there? Pictures?
Don't panic, It doesn't sound too bad. Lower the water amounts with extreme caution. Do not dry out your colony. Hibernation season is soon, that should help with the mold.

One of my Camponotus modoc colony chambers has mold as well, it shouldn't be too big of a problem. Usually the ants themselves will take care of it by burying it in sand. And yeah with hibernation season coming soon it shouldn't be too big of a problem.
