Hello,
I'm wondering what is the best way to move a colony from a dirt setup
This colony is probably around three years.
Up until now it have been living in a plastic tote. Its not really feasable for me to keep it in said tote so i want to move it to a formincarium. This tote is big enough that it would take forever to dry out - probably months.
What is a good way to move them with out harming them?

Re: Moving a Formica colony from a dirt setup to a formicarium
Not really. Maybe a tube from the dirt to the formicarium, and have the formicarium have water. And just wait. Let the dirt dry out and keep the formicarium moist. Probably have an outworld on the other side of the formicarium, so they have to go through the formicarium to get to the food. And cover the formicarium so it is dark. Think that is the best you can do, and just wait. They will move eventually, just let the dirt dry out.
