Won't move
I attached my test tube with queen and workers to a hybrid nest, I checked on them a couple hours later and no move, a few more hours they started turning the formicarium into a trash pile, help on moving them in.

What species of ant? How many workers does your colony have? Are you using light and temperature to encourage them to move?Will230145 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2017 6:09 pmI attached my test tube with queen and workers to a hybrid nest, I checked on them a couple hours later and no move, a few more hours they started turning the formicarium into a trash pile, help on moving them in.

Re: Won't move
Watch the AntsCanada Carpenter ant tutorial. Take special attention to the point where he mentions how long they should live in a test tube.
Re: Won't move
They shouldn't move in a formicarium until they have A LOT MORE workers than that. Otherwise, they won't have the workforce necessary to travel far (what is far to them) to get the food, take care of the eggs etc and they might die. It is also heavily recommended not to feed them in the formicarium, otherwise mold can develop and that could kill your colony.
